There will be a free talk by Ron Sutcliffe titled "Calendars and Timekeeping in the Ancient Chacoan Era". Come and hear about connections to an Earth-Cosmos calendar system.
Ron works as an Archaeoastronomer at Chimney Rock and Chaco Canyon.
The gathering will take place on Monday May 7th from 7-9pm (talk) at the Pagosa Lodge with star gazing (no telescopes) and campfire from 9:30-11pm, 6 miles up Piedra Road. The directions to the campfire site will be available at the talk.
Donations will be accepted to defer costs.
Please bring a folding chair and warm coat for the star gazing portion.
